Attached for Good: Connecting with Others

What if we told you that we already know the single greatest predictor of how well a child will do in life—regardless of what we are measuring them on? Well, guess what. We do. It’s called attachment. Attachment is the basic framework for understanding human connection.  With a solid understanding of attachment, those who work with children can better understand a child’s interaction patterns and behaviors. This session will help teachers understand the powerful impact of relationships on children’s development,  overview four (4) primary attachment styles and offer strategies that will repair and maintain secure attachments with children and others.
