In this interactive workshop, learn the inner-workings of a child's brain during dysregulations as well as the importance of safe relationships in fostering positive behavior.

Baladez Amelia

Amelia Baladez

Amelia has worked in the Early Childhood field for over 10 years and co-developed the Launch program here at MI. Using the knowledge from this program, she develops training and teaches other professionals best practices for social emotional health in the classroom. Amelia graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Arts and Performance from the University of Texas at Dallas.

Hooks Jessica

Jessica Hooks

Jessica Hooks is the Clinical Coordinator of Launch, an early childhood therapeutic program. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker–Supervisor and Registered Play Therapist who received her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington.
