Last week we wrote about how we start every day at Momentous School. We end every day in a similar manner! Each day ends with a closing circle. A closing circle is a routine that wraps up the school day in a peaceful way. It allows students to reflect on their school work and what was meaningful to them about the day, while also connecting with their peers. It sends students home with a sense of accomplishment and belonging. As students leave the school after a full day of learning, it is powerful to spend a few moments together settling down, connecting, and clearing up any questions or confusion. Each day starts and ends with the relationship.
