Making Sense of Sensory Processing Challenges

Teachers are often challenged by children that display sensory processing issues. While children’s brains receive continuous streams of sensory information, some experience challenges processing these sensations and may be either overly sensitive or under sensitive to stimuli in the world around them. This session will help teachers identify behavioral indicators for sensory processing challenges and learn basic strategies for supporting children with sensory processing needs.
