Bringing Social Emotional Health into Your School

Mother Daughter Sel 201

Event Description

Learn essential elements for implementing social emotional health in your school and walk away with a classroom action plan that can be executed immediately. (Must have completed Social Emotional Health: A Classroom Game Changer to attend.)

You’re ready to take the dive – you understand that social emotional health is critical to student success. But where do you start? What’s the very first thing to do? How do you adjust the culture of an entire school? How do you establish a climate for change?

This workshop will lead you through the process of introducing social emotional health to your school. We’ll outline the elements essential to implementing change. School teams will engage in facilitated discussions to explore current practices and identify practices that should be added, eliminated, or changed so that students (and teachers) can reach their potential by gaining skills consistent with social emotional health. You’ll leave with an action plan for your classroom or school that can be implemented immediately.

This workshop is designed for teachers, school leaders, school and district administrators, and others who are interested in implementing social emotional health practices school-wide.
