Students at Momentous School engage in mindful breathing at least three times a day as a part of prioritizing social emotional health. If you’re a teacher, right now you might be wondering how on earth we fit that in. (This is one of the most popular topics of conversation when people tour our school.)

It turns out, it’s so easy! It just takes a couple of minutes (even less for the younger kids) and it completely shifts the mood of the room. We could tell you all about it, but this video does a much better job. Take a look at some of our incredible teachers explaining the benefits – and the application – in this brief video.

Have you tried mindfulness in the classroom? What worked and what didn’t work? We’d love to hear!
