Why Momentous Institute?

We focus on the acquisition of specific competencies of advanced clinical skills and professional identity, strongly guided by the ability to cultivate a posture of self-reflection.
Opportunities to develop skills in individual, group, family, and play therapy with children, adolescents, and adults.
An emphasis is placed on providing linguistically and trauma-informed psychological assessments, expanding caregivers’ understanding of a child’s strengths and needs. We focus on telling the child’s story through the assessment rather than solely making a diagnosis.
Spanish-speaking students wishing to develop clinical competencies in Spanish receive supervision from bi-lingual supervisors focused on developing this important skill.
