When the AT&T Byron Nelson decided to move to Trinity Forest Golf Club in Southern Dallas in 2018, Momentous Institute and Salesmanship Club of Dallas forged a foundational commitment to engage the communities of Southern Dallas beyond tournament week. Today, new partnerships have come to fruition, most notably with Bonton Farms. By partnering together, the leaders at Bonton Farms and Momentous Institute staff have partnered together to help identify the unique physiological, emotional and financial needs of community members; and worked together to connect them with the proper resources for safe housing, food, counseling services, education and case management. The leaders of this community have made a profound impact on Momentous Institute staff.

When the AT&T Byron Nelson kicked off at Trinity Forest Golf Club in 2019, it was evident that Salesmanship Club of Dallas believes this tournament is more than a game. As Sung Kang was crowned the champion at hole 18 on Mother’s Day, Southern Dallas further confirmed its stamp of approval on the tournament that has historically raised $155 million for Momentous Institute which aims to see all children reach their full potential. With the incomparable support of AT&T, the AT&T Byron Nelson continues to enhance partnerships with others in the community and allows Momentous Institute to learn valuable lessons from partner organizations like the City of Dallas, SMU and the First Tee of Greater Dallas.
