[Dallas, Texas, Sept. 17, 2019] - Momentous Institute will host its annual Changing the Odds conference October 24-25 at the Omni Hotel. This year’s theme - Hidden Factors - will showcase internationally-recognized keynote speakers sharing stories, innovative research and practices related to inequity, foster care, trauma, addiction and other hidden factors.

● Howard Stevenson, author, professor, and expert on psychology, racial literacy, and racial trauma
● Maria Teresa Kumar, founding President and CEO of Voto Latino, a nonprofit, non-partisan organization
● Ebony Smith, founder of Dallas-based Yoga N Da Hood will lead conference guests in optional group yoga between speakers

Changing the Odds is a Dallas-based social emotional health conference hosted by Momentous Institute. This year marks the conference’s 8th year to bring in top leaders from around the world to share best practices and inspiring stories to over 1,300 educators, mental health professionals and nonprofit professionals.
