DALLAS, April 6, 2015 – Momentous Institute, powered by the Salesmanship Club of Dallas, is pleased to announce Jessica Trudeau as its new director of development and strategic partnerships.

Trudeau brings extensive experience in development and public health and currently serves as the executive director of the Dallas-based nonprofit, Family Compass. She will assume her new role at Momentous Institute on May 11.

“Jessica’s passion and expertise is an ideal fit for Momentous Institute,” said Michelle Kinder, executive director of Momentous Institute. “Momentous Institute has a nearly 100-year history of changing the odds for kids through mental health and education programs. As we expand our efforts to help more kids, we, along with the members of Salesmanship Club, are thrilled to have Jessica play a key role in helping us connect supporters to our mission.”

For over five years, Trudeau has led Family Compass in its mission to build healthy families and a strong North Texas community by preventing child abuse and neglect. Under her leadership, the agency has more than doubled its budget and grew its operations to serve more than 1,700 families in the Dallas metro area.

"I am deeply grateful to join the team at Momentous Institute, an organization I have admired for some time,” said Trudeau. “I look forward to working with the remarkable staff to translate their best practices in repairing and building social emotional health of children to schools and communities across the nation and globe."

Prior to her position at Family Compass, Trudeau worked at the Injury Prevention Center of Greater Dallas at Parkland Health and Hospital System.
