As we near winter break, it’s a good time for students to reflect on something they’ve accomplished so far this school year. Students learn and grow so much in the first few months of the school year, but they don’t always take the time to recognize what they’ve accomplished.

It’s important for students to receive encouragement and recognition from teachers and caregivers, but it’s equally important that they learn how to recognize and acknowledge their accomplishments on their own.

To help students with this task, we’ve created a worksheet that guides them through a reflection process. This would be a great activity before heading out on winter break, and something you might want to revisit when students return to the classroom in January to help them remember how much they’ve already learned this year!
